Show deep unfairness of the US criminal justice system
I am not against the latest favorable decisions on them, on the contrary I am supporting the basic principle of putting the heavy burden of guilty conviction on governments, rather freeing a real criminal than putting an innocent into jail. Same for the famous OJ case.
The real troubling thing is this basic principle is not applied fairly at all.
In realty reach and vips get the best legal help, poor and minorities often have to rely on the worst ones, free lawyers appointed by the court. Most times this kind of legal help is far from adequate, resulting in wrongful convictions.
Hopefully more and more people pay attention to this problem, forcing the change.
My solution is making criminal justice law way more easier for lay persons to understand, more people get mandatory educations. Bottom line, make criminal justice law less dependent on lawyers, more on citizens involved.
Obviously it’s not easy at all, this nation is a lawyer’s one, controlled by this profession, just like this nation politics is by a few elites of mainly Jews. Yet I am still optimistic things will change, no matter how slow,
